The team performance assessment is an output of process 9.4 Develop Team in the PMBOK® Guide – Sixth Edition.
Tailoring Tips
Consider the following tips to help tailor the team performance assessment to meet your needs:
- For a small project you can just do a summary of technical performance and interpersonal compe- tency rather than decomposing those categories into subcategories.
- If part of your role as a project manager is to evaluate individual team member performance you can modify the form to focus on individuals rather than the team.
- Some team assessments include team strengths and weaknesses.
Alignment
The team performance assessment should be aligned and consistent with the following documents:
- Resource management plan
